I was diagnosed on May 18, 2015 (exact dates are important to us cancer peeps) with only the “this is serious” from the dr. Had no idea of how serious.

I somehow convinced my wife to sleep in the back of a Kia Sorento in Paige, AZ and hit the narrows early the next morning on June 3rd-ish.

First time since May 18th that all I thought about was how amazing Zion’s is and it really carried with me through a year of chemo. Can’t wait to go back.

However, thinking that Zion is only 6 1/2 hours away does have me thinking about *this* weekend. . . . :D
